[edit] Introduction to the EGEE'08 Conference Streaming

Welcome to the EGEE'08 Conference Streaming coordination page.

This wiki coordinates the technical setup of the streamed sessions to be hold at EGEE'08 Conference, with the support of the GLOBAL project. The event, centered on "Grid Computing", will be held in Istambul from 22nd to 26th September 2008. The EGEE'08 conference will provide the perfect opportunity for both business and academic sectors to network with the EGEE communities.

The Isabel streaming event will cover the sessions held in the Ataturk Hall starting on September 22nd at 05:00 UTC/GMT (Check your local starting time here.) to September 25th.

The meeting will be streamed at following servers

• UPM Streaming Server 1 located in Madrid (Spain)
• UPM Streaming Server 2 located in Madrid (Spain)
• ULAKBIM Streaming Server located in Istanbul (Turkey)

It will also be recorded for later review. Check back for links to the recordings here.

You can find instructions on how to follow a live streaming or view a downloaded stream.

[edit] Programme and Remote Participation

The detailed Conference contents is available at EGEE'08 programme. The streaming will cover the session from September 22nd to 25th.

Followers of the streaming can participate in the question time by sending an email with their question to egee08-questionscern.ch . The received questions will be filtered by the moderator and put forward to the speaker on his discretion.

Recordings of the sessions will be linked to the agenda below very shortly after the session finish. Check back for availability.
