[edit] Introduction to the BELIEF Brazil Symposium
Welcome to the Isabel coordination page of the 4th BELIEF International Symposium taking place in São Paulo (Brazil) on 16-17 July with the following Program. The GLOBAL Project supports the Isabel distribution over an IPv6/IPv4 transition scenario as well as the video-streaming.
- Symposium starts on 16th July at 9:00 UTC/GMT (or 14:00 CET): (Check your local starting time here.). It will finish on 17th July at 17:30 UTC-3 (or 22:30 CET).
[edit] Remote Participation
In order to participate with Isabel in the Brazil Symposium please do as follows:
- Confirm participation by clicking here and sending the email which pops up with the requested data filled in.
- Install an Isabel PC without modifying your local laptop harddisk using the instructions below.

- Although not mandatory, we recommend to install Isabel on hard disk. If you have Isabel already installed update to the latest Isabel version.
- Contact Technical coordinators to test your Isabel platform: Abel Carril and Jaime Mejia (Phone +34-91-336-73-66 Ext. 3036).

BELIEF Brazil Symposium remote sessions will use the following servers:
- Main Server (Sao Paulo): 143.107.14.11.
- Backup server (Madrid): mcuz.global.dit.up.es (193.146.135.12).
In order to verify your Isabel platform is ready por remote participation please contact us to arrange a thorough test.
[edit] Non Isabel Connection
- Skype Access: Please provide us your Skype user contacting us so we invite you before the meeting starts.
The GLOBAL Skype user is global-isabel.
- Streaming: The meeting will be streamed at Streaming Server 1. Available recordings will be pusblished for later review.
In order to test your selected connection method please contact us to arrange a thorough test.

In order to have an alternative communication channel during the meetings, it is necessary to connect to the Isabel Plaza Chat, also available with any IRC client using the following configuration:
