The Isabel Plaza Streaming service is compatible with Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. Please follow the instructions below for further information:

- Linux (tested Ubuntu Feisty and Gutsy or higher. Ubuntu Dapper requires mplayer): In case default player does not automatically support streaming, It is required VLC or Mplayer:

• Download W32codecs (Usually Linux X86)
• Create as root the folder /usr/local/lib/codecs (if not existing yet)
• Decompress the files inside the compressed folder of the downloaded file into the folder above
• Install VLC Player by running the command sudo apt-get install vlc (recommended)
  
• For Ubuntu Dapper, it is possible to install mplayer running sudo apt-get install mplayer
  
  

• For Firefox web browser to handle mms:// links:
  
  • Open in firefox the page: about:config
  • Right click on any blank space to pop up the menu and select New -> String
  • Write down in the name: network.protocol-handler.app.mms
  • For the string value write vlc (or mplayer if preferred)
